Grape Bubble Gum Set - All Genuine Amethyst

I loved these huge frosted genuine amethyst beads when I saw them, even though I had no idea what to do with them. I pulled out my other amethyst supplies and voila! This set almost made itself. I do have to give credit to my mother-in-law, Linda, for her suggestions and especially for keeping me company while I worked. The necklace incorporates 5 frosted amethyst beads measuring 20 mm, very dark 8 mm amethyst faceted rondells and 4 mm amethyst and ametrine spacers (the ametrine show a little yellow cast from the citrine). Toggle, crimps, headpins and earwires are all sterling. Strung on doubled Soft-Flex. Not for the faint of personality - but fabulous with jeans or more dressy attire.

Necklace measures 19" long; earrings are 1-7/8" and weigh a considerable 0.4 oz or 13 grams each.

A single strand of cultured freshwater pearls is sprinkled with pink crystal rondells and sterling hearts. Necklace is finished with a sterling heart toggle clasp. Pearls are approximately 5 to 5.5 mm, C grade.
